Scott Rohrbach first fell in love with fitness at the age of 12 during a 7th grade weight training class.  By continuing to train all through school and compete in a few power lifting events, Scott ended up winning a couple of those events and was awarded the Outstanding Male Award in his last competition.  He also set the squat and bench press record for the school in his weight class.

In 1998 Scott enlisted in the US Marine Corps.  Being a Marine kept him in top physical condition as well as increasing his knowledge of self-defense and the protection of others.  During his enlistment he was taught hand to hand combat (with and without a rifle), weapons of opportunity, close quarters combat, jungle warfare training, repelling, house to house combat, room clearing and enemy contact maneuvers.  His unit, (Det. 2 Comm. Co.) awarded him Marine of the Year in 2000.  In 2001 he became a Green Belt Instructor for the new Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).  The program consist of combat conditioning fitness, body hardening and a mixture of some of the most effective martial arts styles such as Okinawan karate, judo, jiu jitsu and muay thai.  Scott has trained and belt promoted Marines in this program here in the states as well as in Iraq during combat operations.  In 2003 he was deployed to Kuwait and then Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom.  In 2004 Scott was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.

In the years following the Marine Corps Scott has continued to expand his knowledge of fitness, wellness, nutrition and martial arts.  He has studied and continues to practice yoga, meditation, nutrition plans and food facts, different styles of exercise, new techniques, kick boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  He is currently a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has competed in multiple grappling tournaments.

Combining this knowledge and experience gives Scott the ability to offer challenging, creative, versatile and customized workouts to support his clients’ needs.  Over the years he has trained many people with different requirements such as fat loss, muscle growth, weight gain, weight loss, endurance, conditioning, health and self-defense.

In 2011 Scott became a certified MMAXOUT Personal Trainer, MMA group fitness instructor and creator/Master Instructor of the MMAX Slide program for MMAXOUT FITNESS.

In 2012 Scott became an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Head Trainer of Instructor Certification for MMAXOUT.
